How it works
Submit Your Serial Number
Share your current chair's serial number and any details you have about the configuration. Daryl uses this to identify the original build specs — seat dimensions, back angle, axle position, add-ons.
Daryl Reviews the Build
Within 1 business day, Daryl reviews what you have and sends back a quote for an identical replacement, plus any notes on alternatives if the exact configuration is discontinued or has been superseded by a better option.
Confirm or Upgrade
If the original config still fits your needs, confirm and Daryl places the order. If anything has changed — new diagnosis, weight changes, different lifestyle needs — this is the moment to catch it before ordering.
Chair Delivered
Daryl handles the order directly with the manufacturer. Lead times vary by make and model — typically 4–10 weeks. Daryl will give you a specific estimate before you confirm.
What to include in your replacement request: Chair make, model, and serial number (usually on a sticker under the seat). Any configuration details you know — seat width, seat depth, cushion type. A photo of the chair helps, especially for add-ons. Email to daryl@wheelchair.direct with subject “Chair Replacement Request.”
When to get a new evaluation instead
A direct replacement is the right path when your body and functional needs are stable and the current chair fits well. Consider a new evaluation if:
- Your diagnosis has progressed or changed significantly
- Your weight has changed by 15+ lbs
- You’ve had a pressure injury or skin breakdown since your last chair
- Your activity level has changed significantly
- The original chair was never a good fit and you want to start fresh
