What I do — and what I don't

I'm an independent mobility equipment specialist with 20+ years in complex rehab technology. I've worked inside large DME organizations — National Seating & Mobility, NuMotion, SpinLife — and I left to do this without the conflicts of interest those environments create.

I don't have manufacturer agreements. I don't push a brand because it's on contract. When you refer a patient to me, the recommendation they receive is based entirely on their clinical picture — not on what I need to sell.

I also don't bill insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. That keeps the process clean: no prior auth delays, no documentation burden on your staff, no waiting six months for a chair that should have shipped in six weeks.

When to refer

I'm a useful resource when:

• A patient needs a custom ultralight or complex rehab chair and the standard DME pathway is slow, frustrating, or producing the wrong recommendation.
• A patient is paying out of pocket — either by choice or because insurance won't cover what they actually need — and wants someone who knows the equipment to source it directly.
• A nursing home or skilled nursing resident is spending down to Medicaid and the family needs to make a good equipment decision quickly.
• You want a second opinion on a seating configuration before a patient commits to a chair.
• A patient has a chair on order from another vendor that isn't right and needs someone to intervene before it ships.

How it works for your patient

The process is simple. Your patient configures their chair online — with the price in plain sight — or talks it through in a free fit consult. We cover their clinical picture, functional goals, and environment. I specify the right chair, source it from whichever manufacturer builds it best, and handle delivery and setup.

For patients who already have a written evaluation from you, we can often skip directly to configuration and ordering — which cuts the timeline significantly.

Pricing is transparent on every chair and the fit consult is free. Patients pay directly for the chair. No insurance navigation, no surprise bills.

No referral fee. No paperwork.

I don't pay referral fees — I think they create the same conflicts I left the industry to avoid. If you refer a patient it's because you think it's the right call for them, and that's how it should stay.

I also won't create work for your team. If you want visibility into what I recommended and why, I'm happy to share that. If you just want to point a patient my direction and trust that they'll be taken care of, that works too.
