Let’s spec your ultralight — properly.
In about 10 minutes, this wizard walks you (or a caregiver or friend helping you) through the body measurements and lifestyle questions that determine how a custom ultralight wheelchair should be built. At the end you get a complete, printable spec sheet — seat dimensions, wheels, camber, special features, and cushion guidance — that works as a starting order sheet for any ultralight on the market, plus the specific models that fit you best.
You’ll need:
• A soft (sewing) tape measure — or your phone camera and a credit card for camera-assisted estimates
• A firm, flat chair or surface to sit on (not a bed or couch)
• The shoes you’ll normally wear in the chair
• 10 minutes — and ideally a second person; several measurements are much easier with help
This tool gives expert-informed starting recommendations — it doesn’t replace an in-person evaluation by an ATP or seating therapist, especially for first-time users or anyone with skin or postural concerns.
